VAN AS STAMPS HER MARK GERMANY MARKS ITS STAMP!

The Dutch Hockey Federation (KNHB) maintains a player ranking system , a kind of barometer of player effectiveness in their Hoofdklasse Rabo league games.
Ex KZ , Laren’s Naomi van As , in her first season at her new club has had a relatively quiet season hovering just outside of the top twelve with SCHC’s Argentine international Sole Garcia undisputed queen. This week three players maxrd it with thirteen performance points each, Garcia , Maartje Paumen (Den Bosch), Wieke Dijkstra (Laren) but Naomi took twelve points to put her seventh in the overall rankings.

 German Finance Miinister, Wolfgang Schäuble, has announced that on Wednesday  four new sports postage stamps have been launched featuring the beautiful game to help raise the profile of  the European Championships for men and women in late August 2011 in Mönchengladbach .
